Based on our initial discussion, we’ll provide a personalized estimate of the time your project may require. All projects begin with a 10-hour minimum engagement, carefully designed around the time needed to produce meaningful research and high-quality deliverables. While many clients choose to begin with this foundation, additional research time is often the key to uncovering richer stories and more complete results.
For a more “Mayflower Lineage” tailored experience, you may also choose the Mayflower Research Package. This package includes collecting all necessary documents to prove your Mayflower lineage as well as preparing an application for membership with the Mayflower Society.

Hourly Research
Our team dives deep into historical records, tracing clues across generations to deliver a comprehensive research report, and all supporting sources uncovered along the way.
Every project begins with a complimentary assessment where we align on your research goals and map out the best path forward. From there, we set sail on your project with a minimum engagement of 10 research hours, ensuring enough depth to make meaningful progress on even the most challenging genealogical puzzles. Research beyond the initial 10 hours is billed at the contracted hourly rate, and clients may choose to establish a cap on total billable hours for added control and predictability.
Note: Since every family story has its own terrain, timelines vary based on scope and complexity. Deliverables are tailored to the level of discovery achieved—always grounded in documented evidence, and always focused on bringing your ancestry into clearer view.

- Creating a Family Tree dating back to a specific generation
- Break through long-standing research roadblocks
- Assist in joining another lineage society like DAR, SAR, the Jamestown Society, or even the Order of Bacon’s Rebellion.
Pricing:
- GSMD Member Research Rate: $125/hr
- Non-Member Research Rate: $150/hr
The Mayflower Research Package
This is the whole package!
Our research team will collect all of the documents necessary to prove your Mayflower lineage. The team will then prepare an application for membership with the Mayflower Society.
Given our expertise in the field of Mayflower genealogy, we can guarantee that if we prove you trace back to a Mayflower passenger, your completed application will be approved. That’s something other research providers can’t claim.
We’ll start with the complimentary assessment to see if you have a potential lineage. If you do, and you decide to go forward, we will do all the necessary work to put your application together.
Package includes all of the research, assembling the application.
Pricing:
- $5,000 includes research and the assembly of your Mayflower Society application*

Records for living relatives, and certain others, if needed, must be obtained by the client at the client’s cost.
