Description

The stained glass windows in the sanctuary of the Mayflower Meetinghouse were designed by Edward Peck Sperry of NY and fabricated at the Church Glass and Decorating Company.

Formerly titled Rev. John Robinson Blessing the Pilgrims on Their Departure from Delfshaven, the windows depict the Separatists’ minister, John Robinson, with outstretched arms extended to those Mayflower Pilgrims who, in the left window, kneel on board the Speedwell previous to their departure. The window on the right conveys the sorrow experienced by those who chose to remain in Holland.

Made in the U.S. by Beacon Design, Rhode Island. Measures 2 1/2″ x 3″.
